Qualifications: · Minimum of 21 years of age
· Valid Kansas drivers license
Certifications: · OSHA certification for forklift operation
· Maintain Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation, Ethics,
Sexual Harassment, Emergency Preparedness, Vehicle
Orientation, HIPPA, Bloodborne Pathogens, AP/SP/CI,
Supportive Healthy Living and OSHA trainings and CPR,
First Aid, Medication Administration and Mandt certifications
Education: · Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
· Provide coverage for other production personnel as needed
Position Summary:· Assist Director of Production
· Perform recycling duties as assigned
Experience: · Job experience in similar position preferred but not required
Skills: · Must demonstrate ability to drive car/vans/trucks
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction
· 50% outdoor & 50% outdoors
· May have high noise levels due to radio traffic, telephone
calls, walk in clients, or other agency business
· Temperatures will reflect seasonal changes at outdoor
sites and attempts to maintain comfortable temperatures
will be made at indoor sites
· Noise levels vary by site but are usually moderate,
although at times may be loud
Conditions: · Hearing protection is provided at sites with extreme noise
Working levels
· Environmental conditions vary by work site and
employees may be required to work in dirt, or recyclable
refuse
· Must follow assigned work schedules that typically reflect
hours Monday-Friday but schedules and hours vary
based on need
· Overtime may be required
· Must work Saturdays as scheduled at the Recycle Center

· Meet OSHA and/or Company policies and requirements
· Provide information to allow compilation of accurate operational
records, reports, and provide information to supervisor and other
staff as required.
· Assure plant facilities are maintained in a safe, operable, and
acceptable condition
· Assure equipment is in working order
· Assure OSHA and SDS requirements for worker safety, facilities,
equipment procedures (including Lockout/Tagout) are
implemented and adhered to
· Assure the facility and all equipment is shut down and secured at
the end of each business day
· Coordinate plant operations with Director of Production to assure
assigned task completion
Provides client support services in accordance with Sunflower
Diversified Services’ corporate policies and procedures and within
standards for licensing
· Will record all incidents, accidents, medical conditions on the
appropriate forms forwarding them to the appropriate party
following agency procedures
Will requisition equipment, materials, and needed items by
submission to their supervisor for processing following agency
procedures
· Present a positive and productive image to clients, business
contacts, guardians, other family members, staff, and the general
public during the performance of job functions during the
performance of job functions
· Provide 1st Aid or emergency care when required
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
· Attends meetings and training as directed by supervisor
