IT End User Support Specialist

Overview

Rooks County Health Center (RCH) has an immediate opening for an IT End User Support Specialist to join our professional health care team. This individual will be responsible for providing ongoing IT support for RCH’s building operations. The qualified professional will provide reliable, secure and innovative IT solutions that support the delivery of quality health care. Responsibilities include: system installation, configuration and usability of computer systems, peripheral equipment & software within established standards and guidelines, application administration and assistance with the hospital’s Health Information System. The individual should demonstrate competence in troubleshooting and resolution of reported issues with the ability to escalate through appropriate channels; as well as maintaining an ever-increasing level of proficiency and knowledge in hardware, software, networking and other technology competencies related to the healthcare system IT department.

Preference given to individuals possessing any of the following skills: experience and knowledge of networking technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, and associated communications protocols (IP BACnet, Modbus etc.) as well as a thorough understanding of items such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, Client server communications and traffic flow. Experience with active directory, group policy and scripting, google workspace administration is helpful.
