Exciting Opportunity: Compliance and Internal Audit Assistant

Location: Hays Office
Pay: $18.92 / hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
Job Type: Full-Time; In-person

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct internal audit activities in key areas such as Cash and Banking, Billing, Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property, Plant & Equipment.
  • Manage the Medical Staff Organization (MSO) process.
  • Assist in revising operations and personnel policies under the guidance of the Director of Administrative Operations.
  • Provide compliance-related training and education to staff.
  • Track completion of state-required trainings for clinical staff and code of conducts upon hire and annually.
  • Monitor timely renewal of clinical licenses.
  • Maintain the Relias Learning staff list and trainings, serving as the primary contact for staff.
  • Assist with data entry of various surveys.
  • Support the Director of Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk Management with additional duties.

Qualifications:

  • Post-high school education in accounting or a related field.
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency in using technology such as computers, software applications, printers, scanners, and telephones.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

We are a Licensed Community Mental Health Center, Behavioral Health Clinic, and Licensed Substance Use Disorder treatment program for Northwest Kansas.  We offer counseling, therapy, substance use treatment, community-based support services and psychiatry services. We have six full-time offices and 20 additional service locations. Telehealth services are widely available.
