Exciting Opportunity: Information Technology (IT) Specialist

Location: Hays Office
Pay: $23.17 / hr.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical assistance for staff.
  • Handle help desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Document all work ticket activities in the management system.
  • Travel onsite when necessary to resolve technical issues.
  • Install and maintain hardware including PCs, printers, and other equipment.
  • Ensure the security and protection of systems and ePHI.
  • Conduct system maintenance, checks, and apply updates.
  • Support IT projects and collaborate with the Information Systems Department.
  • Manage and audit computer equipment inventory and software compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and manage remote connections for Governing Board meetings.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all employees.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT helpdesk functions.
  • Working knowledge of M365 and Zoom (SQL server experience a plus).
  • Strong competency in using technology, including computers, printers, scanners, and phones.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, including understanding and applying technology processes and equipment.

We are a Licensed Community Mental Health Center, Behavioral Health Clinic, and Licensed Substance Use Disorder treatment program for Northwest Kansas.  We offer counseling, therapy, substance use treatment, community-based support services and psychiatry services. We have six full-time offices and 20 additional service locations. Telehealth services are widely available.
