Overview

Norton County Hospital has a part time opportunity for a patient access representative in our Medical Clinic.  The position would be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 to noon with the potential to work some afternoons based on staffing needs.  This could also include some Saturday mornings.
Requirements
Applicant must have excellent customer service and computer skills, the ability to multi-task, great attention to detail, and constant focus on quality and confidentiality.  Primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients and visitors, scheduling clinic appointments, registering patients, insurance verifications, collecting co-pays at point of service and other payments, and explaining patient billing and answering questions.
Summary
Benefit package will depend on the hours worked. Potential for the PTO (paid time off) program and KPERS retirement, life insurance, and disability.  If employment would increase to full time in the future, additional benefits such as health insurance, HSA matching contributions with high deductible health plans, several supplemental insurances, and additional voluntary retirement options would apply.
