Patient Account Representative

Overview

Rooks County Health Center has an opening for a full-time position in our Business Office. Knowledge or experience in medical billing and/or health insurance is preferred but not required to apply. The role of the Patient Account Representative is to provide billing assistance and general support to the business office. This includes complete patient account representation from data entry of charges, payments, and adjustments, to billing inquiries in person and over the phone. Necessary skills to succeed include but are not limited to computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as a team, the ability to prioritize duties and present a professional demeanor.
