Overview
Rooks County Health Center (RCH) has an opening at Rooks County Health Center Clinic for a full-time Physician or Allied Health Professional with emergency department (ED) experience. RCH is a progressive medical facility known for the quality of care we provide to our community. We are looking for another amazing individual to join our provider team.
The position offers a fantastic work schedule of four weekday shifts. Primary duties will include covering the RCH ED one overnight shift every other week, providing weekday fill in coverage, as needed, for Doctors Without Delay (DWD) walk-in clinic and RCH primary care clinic, ED and inpatient rounding. Local supervision and back up are provided for allied health professionals.
Qualified applicants must have successfully completed training in a recognized APRN, PA, MD, or DO program and hold a valid Kansas license to practice medicine. Experience in the emergency department setting is required. Mandatory certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS; optional certification in NRP is beneficial. Collaborative practice habits, desire to serve the Rooks County community and love for performance improvement are critical qualities of our ideal candidate.
RCH provides a model setting to practice primary and urgent care, offering on-site full-service radiology including CT, nuclear medicine, sonogram and MRI, a broad menu of lab services for routine and stat testing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, a full-time pharmacist and comprehensive outpatient nursing services.
